Gyu-Kaku (牛角 gyū kaku?, “bull’s horn”) is a chain of Japanese yakiniku restaurants specializing in Japanese barbecue.
There are approximately eight hundred Gyu-Kaku locations within Japan, and locations have also been opened in the United States (New York City, California, Chicago, Hawaii), Canada, Hong Kong, Taipei, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, most recently the Philippines. Gyu-kaku is part of REINS International Inc.
International recognition was recently given to Gyu-Kaku Chicago as the Diner’s Choice Winner 2011. Gyu-Kaku is very much present in Southeast Asia with nearly 30 restaurants in the region. It continues to bring premium Wagyu and choice meat cuts to its diners who enjoy being their own chefs.
